Two hours at leisure to stroll in the picturesque Village, enjoy the breathtaking scenery from the slopes of Mt Parnassus till Itea, take pictures and enjoy a “Greek coffee”. Departure to Kalambaka, passing through picturesque villages of Central Greece. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka Day 2: visit METEORA and enjoy unique and most impressive scenery with ageless monasteries, containing priceless historical and religious treasures, standing between Earth and sky atop huge rocks. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (visit the Leonidas monument) and Kamena Vourla. Visit to the archaeological site and museum of Delphi is not included. Skirts for the ladies and long trousers for the gentlemen are required for the visit to the Meteora monasteries. |
