In the afternoon visit the archeological Site. Dinner and overnight in Delphi Day 2: in the morning visit the museum in Delphi and in the afternoon drive to Kalambaka via picturesque villages of Central Greece. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka Day 3: visit METEORA, particularly impressive scenery: ageless monasteries containing priceless religious and historical treasures stand suspended between Earth and sky atop huge granite rocks. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (visit the Leonidas monument) and Kamena Vourla. Skirts for the ladies and long trousers for the gentlemen are required for the visit to the Meteora monasteries. |
