Departure time: approximately 08:45 am
Return time: approximately 19:00 pm (fourth day)
Day 1: in the morning leave to Argolis. Short stop at the Canal of Corinth and then proceed to Mycenae – visit the Lion’s Gate, the
Royal Tombs, and the Cyclopean Walls. Departure to Nauplia and in the afternoon visit the ancient theater of Epidaurus who's
acoustics are the best in the world. Leave for Olympia. Dinner and overnight in Olympia
Day 2: after breakfast visit the archaeological site and the museum of Ancient Olympia. After departure to Delphi via Patras and
the ferry boat Rion / Antirion. Dinner and overnight in Delphi.
Day 3: in the morning visit the museum in Delphi and the archeological site. In the afternoon drive to Kalambaka via picturesque
villages of Central Greece. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka.
Day 4: visit METEORA, particularly impressive scenery: ageless monasteries containing priceless religious and historical
treasures stand suspended between Earth and sky atop huge granite rocks. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae
(visit the Leonidas monument) and Kamena Vourla.
Skirts for the ladies and long trousers for the gentlemen are required for the visit to the Meteora monasteries.
