Day 1: ISTANBUL
Arrival in Istanbul – assistance and transfer to the hotel.
Balance of day at leisure.
Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2: ISTANBUL
Breakfast at the hotel.
Full day tour of Istanbul. Istanbul’s blend of East and West has resulted in some of the most magnificent architecture in the world.
Visit the Topkapi Palace which overlooks the Bosphorus, Marmara Sea and the Golden Horn, and presents a maze of buildings
that was the great palace of the Ottoman sultans, from the 15th to the 19th century. Afterwards pass from the Hippodrome – that
once was one of the largest chariot race grounds of the Byzantine Empire, Sainte Sophie – the 4th century Christian church, the
Blue Mosque and finally the Grand bazaar – one of the most popular places in Istanbul with over 4000 shops offering a large
variety of gold, carpets, leatherwear and souvenirs.

Day 3: ISTANBUL - IZMIR - EPHESUS - KUSADASI
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport for the flight to Izmir.
Upon arrival, tour to the ancient city of Ephesus. Here the history truly comes to life. Walking towards the ancient harbor, down the
marble road rutted by the wheels of countless chariots, you pass such architectural masterpieces as the Magnesian Gate and the
Library of Celsus before arriving at the great amphitheater where Saint Paul was arrested and cast out of the city. The seaside resort
of Kusadasi has undergone vigorous development in recent years and is an excellent place to shop for Turkish goods.
Overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 4: APHRODISIAS - LAODICEA (Denizli) - HIERAPOLIS (Pamukkale)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for tour of Aphrodisias, renown for its brothels in antiquity, with an excellent stadium, a theater, and the temple of Aphrodite.
Drive on to Pamukkale, with a short stop at Laodicea, which is mentioned in Revelations by St John and in ancient times, was known
as "The City of Compromise" before continuing to Pamukkale for a sightseeing tour of what remains of the Ancient City of Hierapolis
and the travertens.
Overnight in Pamukkale.

Day 5: PHILADELPHIA – SARDIS (Sart) - IZMIR
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for sightseeing tour to Philadelphia, the ancient “City of brotherly love” with its famous church of Philadelphia which was
an important place for the spreading of the Christian faith. Continue to visit Sardis, the wealthy capital of the ancient Lydian Empire
and one of the most amazing sites in Turkey. After Sardes, depart for Izmir.
Overnight in Izmir.

Day 6: IZMIR - PERGAMON (Bergama) - THYATIRA (Akhisar) - KUSADASI
Breakfast at the hotel.
Depart from Izmir for a tour of Pergamon, to visit the Asclepion, the Acropolis and the views of the Red Basilica. Drive on to Thyatira,
whose remains include a temple and a large church. Continue to Kusadasi.
Overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 7: KUSADASI - SAMOS ISLAND - ATHENS
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the port for the ferry crossing to the Greek island of Samos. Transfer to Samos Airport for flight to Athens.
Transfer to the hotel.
Overnight at hotel in Athens.

Day 8: ATHENS - CORINTH - ATHENS
Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning departure for a half day tour of ancient Corinth. Leave by the coastal road along the Saronic Gulf to the Canal of Corinth
which connects the Ionian Sea with the Aegean Sea (short stop). After the ancient Corinth visit, return to Athens for a half day tour
which will give you the opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such as fascinating city. Your guide will take
you to the center : Constitution Square, the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier. Then driving down Herod
Atticus street you will see the Evzones in their picturesque costume and the Presidential Palace. On your way to the Acropolis you
will see the Panathenaic stadium (where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in 1896) and the Athens of the 2nd
century A.D., the temple of Olympian Zeus and the Adrian’s Arch. On the Acropolis visit its museum and the architectural
masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea, the temple of Athena Nike, the Erechteion and finally, the “harmony
between matter and spirit”, the monument that puts “order in the mind”, the Parthenon. Afternoon / evening at leisure.
Overnight in Athens.

Day 9: ATHENS
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport.
